Magazine for literature and politics with the first publication of Plate's realistic novel in epistolary form about a young woman who demands from her husband an open marriage and sex with other men. The text was later published in a slightly different form as a book by Geert van Oorschot (1965). The "Letter to Renéé Plate" by J. Roukens was not published elsewhere.

¶ Hollands Weekblad, edited by K.L. Poll, later became Hollands Maandblad. The four issues in this lot also contain contributions from Adriaan Morriën, Aad Nuis, J.P. Guépin, Judith Herzberg, Dick Hillenius, Nico Scheepmaker (ontwerp voor een sportroman), a Fabel by Leo Vroman (with drawing by Peter Vos) and a Bezige Bij advertisement for the Literaire Reuzenpocket Nr. 22: DE AVONDEN by G.K. van het Reve.

Revolutionary girl power publication from the early 1960s. Renée Plate is the pseudonym of the Leiden writer / goldsmith Minke Menalda (1934-). At the time she was married to the Dutch poet / historian J.W. Oerlemans (1926-2011) of whom a poem is also included in nr 133.
