¶ Bussum physician Jozef Coenraad Tummers (1912-1999) likely based his work on "Essentials of Pediatrics For Nurses" (1939). It includes chapters on pregnancy, the nursery, birth, breastfeeding, infant illnesses, postnatal depression, first aid, and names for boys and girls. One of the photos (with Sinterklaas and 'blackface' Zwarte Piet) would probably make a reissue problematic today.
