¶ The Atlas Maior by the great Dutch cartographer Dr. Jan (Joan) Willemsz.
Blaeu (ca. 1598–1673), containing six hundred maps, was one of the most expensive cartographic publications of the 17th century. This Taschen reprint was previously published in 2005 (deluxe cloth binding). This 25th Anniversary edition was also produced under the supervision of Benedikt Taschen himself.
