Text spoken by Hein van Haaren, prior to the funeral of designer Jurriaan Schrofer on Friday, July 6, 1990 in the auditorium of the 'Werkplaats Kindergemeenschap' in Bilthoven. Hein van Haaren (1930-2014), CEO of the PTT, became friends with Schrofer in the 1960s. Cf. Huygen p. 182 etc.
¶ Bibliophile obituary printed on fragile paper. The designer, maker and edition are unknown, but probably no more than 100 copies were made. The booklet (in centre stitching) was presented by the relatives according to an accompanying note (not present here!). Scarce item, only present in two public collections.
