Collection with a selection of 64 newspaper articles with texts by journalist Harry van der Ploeg about monumental buildings and special locations in the Gelderland capital. Illustrated with the matching cityscapes in beautiful pen drawings by Dick Caderius van Veen (1950-).

¶ The book presents i.a. windmill De Kroon in Klarendal, the Korenmarkt, the Duivelshuis by Maarten van Rossum, the Jugendstil bridge in the Transvaalbuurt, the village church on Schaarsbergen and café De Wacht at the Gele Rijdersplein. On the cover the Eusebiuskerk from the alley 'Paradijs'. During the 1990s, 4 bundles appeared in the series. A fifth part was published in 2004 and a sixth part in 2019.
