Condition: Good - preserved in its original 19th century paper cover.
Large print with a view of the Gelderland capital. Published in 'Arnhem en zijne environs' (dating from 1828-1846), an album with six lithographs, that can be found in only one public institution next to the Rijksmuseum. Bottom right with a numerator numbered (1392); in addition to the album, these prints were also sold separately as souvenirs.
¶ City view from the other side of the Rhine (now Arnhem-Zuid). In the foreground a gentleman with a hunting dog, fishermen and a rowing boat. In the middle of the river we see a large wooden raft on which Arnhemmers are busy. The Arnhem city walls are also clearly visible. In the center we find the tower of the Eusebiuskerk and a mill in the distance to the right. Museum worthy Dutch collectors item. The maker (artist) is unknown.
