Bound monthly health magazine from the 1930s; complete series of 12 episodes. Illustrated with black and white photos, reproductions and nostalgic advertisements. With book section and index. Master binder Hans Zegveld has provided this volume with a half cloth binding with the title in silver stamp on the spine.

Volume 14 contains articles and letters to the editor about i.a. Mussolini ("the great chief of the fascist government in Italy"), sweaty feet, earth rays, cancer, homoeopathy, tobacco culture ('the evil of cigarettes'), a visit to Bad Wörishofen in Ginneken near Breda and to Gezondheidsoord 'De Nordstede' in Velp.

¶ Advertising for French apple wine from Normandy, Marmite food extract and Visser's menthol eucalyptus bonbons. On p. 152 mention is made of Jewish doctors who have fled Germany in England and France: they are undesirable because the competition is too great.

FURTHER: Zelfbevrediging [Masturbation]: "De gevolgen van onanie kunnen opgeheven worden als met het kwaad wordt gebroken."
