Antique touristic booklet ('un livre en zigzag') with 16 beautiful photos in COLOUR (so-called chromolithographs) of cityscapes and monuments of Paris around 1900. Text in English and French. Bound in beautiful red linen luxury binding.
¶ Visible are the Arce de Triomphe, La Madeleine, L'Avenue des Champs-Elysées (with vintage cars), the Notre-Dame cathedral and of course La Tour Eiffel (the Eiffel Tower, opened for the World Exhibition of 1889 and since then the symbol of the French City of Light.
