An essay about Germany and the Netherlands; a response by Multatuli (Eduard Douwes Dekker, 1820-1887) to a pamphlet from 1866 by Johannes Bosscha Sr. (1797-1874), in which the former minister advocates preventive armament. Bound in blind blue linen binding.
¶ This text first appeared in 1867 as 'Een en ander naar aanleiding van J. Bosscha's Pruisen en Nederland'. A second edition was published the same year, from which this is the reprint.
