¶ Fashion designer Max Heymans (1918-1997) was born in the fashion city of Arnhem and is considered one of the greatest among Dutch couturiers. This book contains photos of himself (dressed as a woman) Hetty Blok, Conny Stuart, Mary Dresselhuys, Caro van Eyck, Charlotte Köhler, Ida Wasserman, Josephine van Gasteren and other fashion models and manequins, all in his creations.
