Bottle opener made of bronze relief depicting a naked woman, the sun, and the hero from the hard-boiled detective stories by the prolific writer Ludo van Eck (or Van Eeckhout, 1922-1991). Rare collector's item!

¶ This collector's item was advertised on the back of Jo Durand Avonturier. No.17 (Jo in het Vreemdelingenlegioen). The Belgian ex-resistance fighter Ludo Vaneck wrote Nazi pulp, pornography, and erotica under various pseudonyms in the 1960s, of which Jo Durand—modeled on James Bond—was the most successful.
