Vintage men's magazine with fashion, lifestyle and (ski) clothing aimed on a wealthy target group. Illustrated with photos and reproductions in colour and black and white (including nostalgic advertisements for tailored suits, shoes, etc.). Text in French. Anniversary number.

The magazine was founded in 1925. This 250th issue includes a "portfolio des Grands Tailleurs de Paris 1925-1958" (including Jeanne Lanvin, Puissegur, Maison Kriegck, Paul Vauclair) and an article on "Les peintres de 1945; L'Ecole de Paris" with Jean Dubuffet, Serge Poliakoff, Hans Hartung and Andre Masson. Furthermore, a report at home with the multi-writer Jean Bruce (1921-1963); (known from the OSS 117 Zwarte Beertjes pockets by Dick Bruna) and on p. 152-153 all kinds of goodies (watches, cufflinks) from Boucheron - with sales prices (!).

¶ On p. 92-93 a special contribution (drawings and a message for the magazine in manuscript) by avant-garde artist Jean Cocteau (1889-1963).
