The first (and most likely only published) issue of this Provo magazine from the early 1970s (the year is an estimate by NCC). Illustrated with black-and-white photos, reproductions, cartoons, and satires.

¶ Guus Dijkhuizen (1937-2013) previously founded the magazine 'Gandalf' (like 'Smaug' - the dragon - also named after the fantasy epic by J.R.R. Tolkien). Contributions by Joost Troost (caricature of Richard Nixon) and ROBERT CRUMB (Mr. Natural's Old Man featuring Li'l Cute). The 'wonderlijk Smaugteam' included Tjitte de Vries and Hans Kanters.
