¶ Due to the relatively low circulation of approximately 16,000 copies. (including the 2nd edition from 1921) this is one of the rarer picture albums. The story was told in antiquarian circles that part of the first edition went up in flames in a fire in the publisher's warehouse. Cf. Coesel p. 102 ; Gooijaers p. 227.
