Bound edition in beautiful luxury half-leather binding with covers and endpapers of decorative paper, title and writer's name in gold print on the spine.
¶ Contains, among others, Lodewijk van Deyssel (found at the A of Alberdingk Thijm), Willem Bilderdijk, Louis Couperus, Multatuli (at the D), Frederik van Eeden and many other famous and forgotten names. W.F. Hermans named his alter ego Richard Simmillion and some of his characters after writer's names from this reference work.
