Collection of stories by the Nijmegen writer Frans Kellendonk (1951-1990). With cover drawing by William D. Kuik. Series Meulenhoff Edition. ¶ The author's debut, for which he received the Anton Wachter Prize.
Explanation: in fact the book itself is also a 'Bouwval' [= a ruin]; the cover stained with wear and cellophane peels off here and there. With ex-libris and small name of previous owner. However, also SIGNED by the author with dedication ("voorleesavond / 25 februari '83"). Autographed books by Kellendonk are quite rare.
