Monograph of the anonymous artist (der Künstler) 'EL'. With a short interview with Dr. Pierre Fels about sadomasochism. Istvan Schwenda is a pseudonym of the German writer Uve Schmidt (1939-) who also compiled 'Das Jahrbuch der Erotik'. 'Umschlag und Text-Design': Walter Hartmann.
¶ Illustrated with over 90 high quality black and white drawings depicting various fetish BDSM scenes (including femdom). In the back is a section with 12 colour pornographic images. The artworks are probably created in the 1930s / 1960s. According to Clarissas Krambude (p. 208) those works are done by an artist known as 'Jim'.
