Literary magazine, originally started (and named after a café) in Antwerp, Belgium. Illustrated with photos (by Egbert Munks). With table of contents. 33 issues appeared between 1955 and 1964. Cf. Mourits p. 30.
¶ Contains contributions by Willy Roggeman ('John Coltrane / Jazzhorizon 63'); Armando ('Over het lijk van de Renaissance' and 'September' in de trein'); René Gysen (about Pierre Klossowski) and Nico Scheepmaker ('Koning Voetbal'). In addition to the two series of poems, Vaandrager also focuses his critical sights on Cees Nooteboom's novel 'De ridder is gestorven' (1963) on p. 56-57; "an impotent book".
This issue was published with a black wrap-around band of fragile paper with the print: "in een volgend nummer / EEN NIEUWE DATUM IN DE POËZIE".
