Erotic comic book by the Dutch illustrator Bart van Erkel after a screenplay by Martin Lodewijk; a detective story set in the snuff movie crime world. Illustrated in black and white. Cf. Matla KATAB 2.1.

A German translation of this title was also published. Lodewijk and Van Erkel previously made an album 'De Kat in Constantinopel' (1980) in this series. Part 2 [= 3] 'De Kat in Kitzbühl', announced on the back, was never published.

¶ The character 'De Kat' was originally created by Henk Albers (1927-1987) who published a number of pulp strips from 1947 onwards. Bart van Erkel (1949-2012) made porn comics for Candy in the 1970s under the pseudonym Bartholo. Martin Lodewijk (1939-) is best known for Agent 327. He also wrote screenplays for the SF comic series STORM by Don Lawrence.
