Erotic comic strip in this adult pulp series; a fictional, slightly erotic, biography in comic form of Mata Hari (Margaretha Geertruida Zelle, 1876-1917). Illustrated in black and white (only the cover is in colour). Cf. Matla BEROV 1.5.

¶ Part of the series 'Beroemde Verhalen in Beeld' (other parts include Casanova, Dracula, Frankenstein and Mr. Jeckyl en Mr. Hyde). The edition was huge (with a selling price of one guilder), but all parts of the series have become rare. This issue is attributed to Pietro Gamba (1925-2008).
